Stinger is a transportation management system operated by Caravan Transport for its dispatch staff and contracted drivers. This policy covers the Stinger web application at stingertms.com and the Stinger Driver mobile app.
Account information: your name, email address, and phone number, provided when your dispatcher creates your account or when you sign up.
Location: while you are signed in, the Stinger Driver app shares your device location with your carrier's dispatch so they can track load progress — including in the background while a delivery is under way (a persistent notification shows whenever sharing is active). Sign out in the app to stop sharing at any time.
Photos and inspection data: photos you take of vehicles during pickup and delivery inspections, damage annotations, and electronic signatures, which become part of the Bill of Lading record for each load.
Load and payment records: information about loads you haul and the pay associated with them.
All data is used solely to operate the transport business: dispatching loads, tracking shipments, documenting vehicle condition, generating Bills of Lading and invoices, and calculating driver pay.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as required to conduct the business (for example, providing a signed BOL to a shipper or broker) or as required by law.
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase and Vercel) in the United States, protected by role-based access controls: drivers can only see their own loads, and inspection records are restricted to the people involved with a load.
You can stop location sharing at any time by signing out of the app. To correct or delete your account data, contact dispatch or email us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
